Auditing
Apart from complying with statutory requirements, ROA encourages clients to turn the legal necessity of audit into a business opportunity by ensuring that the right controls are in place, so that business assets are safe from criminal misappropriation or negligence; recommend new ways to strengthen controls; and in general, propose innovative solutions for clients' businesses to be run more cost effectively.
Taxation
ROA appreciates and understands the technicalities and legalities involved in assessing clients' tax situations to obtain maximum tax benefit and relief. Routine compliance work as well as advice on specific tax issues that may be required on an ad hoc basis are also undertaken.
Accounting
To ensure that clients' businesses are run on healthy lines, ROA employs computer packages to make certain that accurate financial statements are generated on a timely basis and books of accounts as well as registers are properly maintained; thus projecting greater efficiency and increased profitability.
Company Secretarial Duties
The Companies Act, 1965 sets out an extensive array of duties, responsibilities and guidelines for the administration of company affairs. ROA assists clients to operate within the regulations of the Act. It also sets up new companies, lodges the required documents and keeps the required books and registers up to date.
